Boat trips

Flevoland and water are inseparable.  A round trip on the IJsselmeer and Markermeer Lakes or the Veluwemeer Lake provides a wonderful view of the charming ports and the untouched Flevoland countryside. Opportunities are endless: how about a boat trip from Urk to the fishing grounds with captain Sjoerd Snoek? This is where you can try and catch a fresh pike perch.

Rondvaarten Veluwemeer, located between Harderwijk and Elburg, provides an island tour and other options. Participants sail through the harbour of the Pierland Island, then continue across the new aqueduct in Harderwijk onto the Wolderwijd in the direction of Zeewolde. After an intermediate stop in Zeewolde, participants return to the Veluwemeer Lake via the harbour of the Biezen Island. The round trip can be combined with an interesting excursion, a great day of shopping or a walking tour or bicycle ride. At Naupar, combine your boat excursion with a bicycle ride.
Participants hoist the sails and sail to one of the charming little cities at the IJsselmeer Lake, where they hop on a bike for a ride that takes in the most beautiful spots in the region, after which they get back on the boat for the return journey. During the holiday months, on market days the party ship Achie sails from Zeewolde via the border lakes to the historic fishing villages of Elburg and Spakenburg. Feel free to spend the day on the boat and enjoy the view of the IJsselmeer Lake. A trip across the water is a wonderful way to clear your head and get some fresh air.
