The Swifterbant Shortgolfbaan (short golf course) is unparalleled, in that it depicts the former river dune landscape from the days before the Zuider Zee. Enjoy the sloping fairways, elevated tees, spacious greens and the wonderful water garden in the centre of the course, which springs from a small river into a large pool, just as it did 6000 years ago. You don’t require a golf license, because there is swing golfing at the Meeuwenhoeve at the Knarbos: a type of golf which came from France and is played with a safe, supple ball and a special swing golf club suitable for everyone. The Meeuwenhoeve was the first swing golf course in the Netherlands.
